Eli Goldratt

Eli Goldratt is an educator, author, scientist, philosopher, and business leader. But he is, first and foremost, a thinker who provokes others to think. Dr. Goldratt obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Tel Aviv University and his Masters of Science, and Doctorate of Philosophy from Bar-Ilan University. In addition to his pioneering work in business management and education, he holds patents in a number of areas ranging from medical devices to drip irrigation to temperature sensors.

He is the author of many books, including the business best sellers The Goal, It’s Not Luck, and Critical Chain. His books have sold over 3 million copies and have been translated into 23 languages.

Eli Goldratt was the founder of the original Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute in 1986 and more recently has established the Goldratt Group and its divisions: Goldratt Education, Goldratt Consulting and Goldratt Marketing (media products).

Dr Goldratt is also the founder of TOC for Education, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing TOC ideals to teachers so that children all over the world can be taught skills that enable them to become self reliant life long learners, capable of using cause and effect logic to plan their actions, make decisions and solve problems and conflicts in a creative way.
